Black Tint Epoxy and Pippy Oak Dining Table with Star Base
This dining table was made using a large pippy oak slab with some additional pieces placed on an angle across the length of the rectangular tabletop.
The wood was paired with a black tint epoxy resin cast to allow the waney edge details to be seen through the resin, but with an opaque black resin layer at the bottom to block any view-through to the base.
The legs are a black powder coated steel star shaped frame and the table was finished with a durable oil plus a ceramic coating.
